Today is Cadiz 41st Charter Day Celebration
NOTICE:
CANCELLATION OF ALL FUNFARE ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY CHARTER DAY ANNIVERSARY
Due to the tragedy brought by Typhoon Frank which struck several families in Cadiz City particularly in the Fishing Sector, the Office of the City Mayor opted that all activities of the 41st Charter Day Anniversary Celebration which manifest funfare and merrymaking are cancelled. Only the three(3) events are to be undertaken which are as follows:
July 3, 2008 (Thurs.)
9:00 A.M. Mass Wedding at Don Bernardo Benedicto Community Center (This is so because several to be wedded couples living in the rural areas are informed in advance.)
July 4, 2008 (Fri.)
8:00 A.M. Holy Mass - in front of the City Hall
10:00 A.M. Blessing, Inauguration, and naming of the 16-room building of the Dr.V.F. Gustilo Memorial National High School to Gov. Joseph G. Marañon Building

hello Cadiznon, Im so glad i was able to visit Cadiz again after 12 years of being away, i can say there are lots of changes particularly the city itself, one thing i didnt like was the congestion the tricyles are making, its just too much around in the city, the fumes bothered me a lot, not to mention my 2 year old who had never got rid of his snuffling and coughing until we were back in the West Coast.But as the saying goes "the sweetest place on earth is always at home" is true to me, seeing faces and places, memories and families, its like old times.irreplaceable... cheers and see you next vacation.
